Lenovo has now unveiled the complete details of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold, the teaser of which was taken out in the month of May 2019. Initially, the ThinkPad X1 Fold will be available with the Windows 10 by the mid-2020. After some time, the company is planning to make it available in Windows 10X which will enhance the foldable user experience. Further, it also offers the optional 5G connectivity which will provide for new ways of working anywhere and anyhow you want.

Mr. Gregory Bryant, the Intel Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Client Computing Group has said in a statement, “Our longstanding partnership with Lenovo helps us to continue pushing the boundaries of PC experiences and designing.” He further added, “The collaboration between our teams has been amazing, and the co-engineering work we’ve done at the platform level has had clearly superb results with this unique, foldable-screen PC.”
The ThinkPad X1 Fold is perfect for an office environment. It can easily be connected to a full-size keyboard and a mouse and a second display as well. This can be connected via a USB Type-C cable and can place the device in the optional ThinkPad X1 Fold Stand either in the portrait or the landscape mode. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold will be priced at $2,499 (Rs. 1,79,400). The launch date of the X1 Fold is not known as yet. But it is expected to launch by mid-2020. Also, the complete details regarding global pricing as well as the availability of the laptop will soon be announced.
Lenovo has claimed that it has done work on the ThinkPad X1 Fold for more than four years. The company has also inspected four primary designs and six hinge designs with the aim to provide a durable and reliable laptop.
Lenovo has entered into a partnership with LG Display to produce a flexible display. On the other hand, a team from Intel has helped the ThinkPad engineers in finding the solutions to the various hinge-related challenges. In the portrait orientation, you can take notes or draw sketches using the Active Pen in the X1 Fold.
The company has also manufactured a ThinkPad X1 Fold Stand. The Stand will be made available from mid-2020. This will help the user to enjoy a desktop-like experience by keeping the device in a portrait or landscape mode. Lenovo has also manufactured a new Bluetooth Mini Fold Keyboard. This keyboard can be attached to the X1 Fold which helps the user during long-hour typing.
