Mobile gaming fans who have been waiting for PUBG Corporation to bring India back on Friday (November 20) may have to wait a bit longer.

Although PUBG Corp has officially confirmed that it will re-enter the Indian market by creating an Indian subsidiary and a new game, the company has not set a date. Many rumors have been spread on the internet platforms that the new game could be released on Friday. However, it appears that there is no official confirmation yet regarding the release date of the new game. At the time of writing this article, there was no official news.

Without revealing the exact release date for PUBG Mobile India, a teaser video released last week showed that the comeback will be more attractive.

PUBG said that it is preparing to launch PUBG Mobile India, a new game created specifically for the Indian market. PUBG Corp said that the Indian subsidiary will employ more than 100 employees specializing in business, e-sports, and game development. He added that in addition to establishing a local office, the company will seek effective cooperation and benefit from local companies to improve its gaming service. The company also revealed plans to provide a safe and healthy gaming environment, as well as investments to develop local video games and e-sports, Entertainment, and information technology industries.

With its South Korean parent company Krafton Inc., PUBG Corp. also plans to make a $ 100 million investment in India to grow the local video game, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries. The popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) mobile app was among 118 Chinese apps that the Indian government banned in September due to national security concerns. To lift the ban, PUBG Corp. decided to no longer allow the PUBG Mobile franchise to China-based Tencent Games in India.

PUBG privacy

To mitigate concerns about data privacy and security, PUBG said it will conduct regular audits and checks on storage systems holding Indian users' personally identifiable information to reinforce security and ensure that their data is safely managed. He added that to create and enhance a healthy gaming environment, the content of the game will be enhanced and designed to reflect local needs.

Different aspects of the game will be customized for Indian players, such as the game now taking place in a virtual simulation training arena, new characters that start dressing automatically, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game. The company will include a feature that establishes playtime restrictions to promote healthy gaming habits for young players.
