WhatsApp announces 4 New Features. The features includes communities for all users. In addition, the ability to conduct polls in the group and within the chat has also been implemented.
"Today, we're thrilled to present our concept for WhatsApp Communities, a brand-new service we're introducing. Since WhatsApp launched in 2009, we've been focused on how to help people have the next best thing in an in-person conversation when they want to." talk to an individual, group of friends, or family," said Mark Zuckerberg. In their feature announcement: "We're also hearing a lot from people using WhatsApp to connect and coordinate within the community."
WhatsApp Communities
Communities on WhatsApp will help people bring separate groups under one umbrella with a structure that works for them. This will make it easier for folks to communicate updates to the entire community. It will also help people organize discussion groups about what is important to them. The new feature will come with a set of tools for administrators, such as which announcement messages are sent to everyone and controlling which groups can be included.
Chat surveys on WhatsApp
WhatsApp started testing the chat polls feature a long time ago before finally rolling out the feature. According to the beta versions, WhatsApp will let you make a question in the chat's polls and let you add up to 12 additional questions. How the functionality will look and operate has not yet been disclosed by WhatsApp. You must update WhatsApp from the Play Store or App Store to access the newest features.
Group chat with 1024 people, video call 32 once
You can now add up to 1,024 people to a group on WhatsApp. Currently, a group can only have 200 members added. A group video conference can include up to 32 individuals. Aside from that, WhatsApp has also implemented large file sharing, emoji reaction, and admin removal features that will come in handy in communities.
