DDA Housing Scheme: Draw of lots for allotment of flats on 10 March

The Urban Authority said on Friday that the apartment allocation lots offered under the DDA Housing scheme Online 2021 will take place on March 10.

These apartments are offered under the scheme for various categories, at locations like Dwarka, Jasola, Manglapuri, Vasant Kunj, and Rohini.

"The Delhi Development Authority will carry out the draw for the apartment allocation under the 2021 DDA Housing Scheme on March 10, starting at 11 am. The draw will be based on the random number generation system and will be carried out in presence of Judges and senior officers of the DDA . " it is said in a statement.

Since the scheme is online, the general public can view the live telecast of the draw on their computers or mobile phones via live streaming, it said.

More than 33,000 applications were submitted till February 16, the last date for the plan launched on January 2, with 1,354 apartments on offer.

Officials previously said the company had received payments from more than 22,500 applicants.

Of the 1,354 apartments on offer, the most expensive is Rs 2.14 crore in the high-income group category.

A maximum of 757 apartments was offered in the MIG category.

The scheme is available entirely online and is implemented by the newly developed AWAAS software by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Housing Scheme from application processing to apartment acquisition.

In the categories, HIG, LIG , and EWS / Janta, the number of apartments offered - 254; 52, and 291, based on information shared in the brochure of the scheme.

HIG Apartments are available in 3BHK and 2BHKcategories. While MIG is in the 2BHK category.

The latest DDA latest Housing Scheme was launched in March 2019, offering nearly 18,000 apartments in four categories: 488 (HIG), 1,555 (MIG), 8383 (LIG), and 7496 (EWS).
