Earlier this month, Swiggy, the largest food delivery company, entered Dunzo hyperlocal delivery space with Swiggy Go's vertical rollout.

The company said earlier in a statement: "Swiggy Go is designed to keep up with modern and busy lifestyles governed by tasks, tasks and task lists."

Swiggy Go's vertical launch followed the launch of Swiggy stores earlier this year. Swiggy stores allow users to order from nearby stores to be delivered instead.

The Swiggy shop service was initially available on Gurugram. But now, the company claims to partner with over 3,500 stores in the National Capital Region, including business partners such as Ferns and Petals, Le Marche, Needs Supermarket, Licious, Zappfresh, MomsCo, Apollo and Guardian Pharmacy. This service is likely to enhance store order volumes.
