Infosys and Sector Alarm partner for cloud growth

On July 9, Infosys revealed a five-year partnership with Sector Alarm to modernize the company's main business systems on the cloud, according to a filing.

Partially owned by global investment firm KKR, the security provider is based in Europe.

Lorenzo Bianchi, Sector Alarm's chief digital transformation officer, stated that teaming up with Infosys for introducing cloud-based ERP solutions, along with their close partnership with Microsoft, is a strategic move to reach this objective. Infosys' knowledge will provide us with the scalability and operational efficiency required to easily expand our business and achieve new levels of success.

According to the company statement, Infosys will assist Sector Alarm, a European company with roots in Norway, in transitioning their various on-premises enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) under this collaboration.


According to the document, this will assist Sector Alarm in updating its financial and business operational methods.

Utilizing Infosys' expertise in digital transformation, the Microsoft platform will help Sector Alarm improve financial operations, obtain business intelligence, and seamlessly connect with their current CRM platform, as noted in the filing.

On NSE, Infosys shares closed at Rs 1,656.2, down 0.33 percent on July 9.

Jasmeet Singh, EVP and global head of manufacturing at Infosys, remarked on the collaboration with Sector Alarm, highlighting Infosys' skill in leading digital transformation for fast-growing companies. Through the utilization of cloud-based ERP and CRM systems, along with our established partnership with Microsoft, we aim to provide Sector Alarm with a strong IT platform to support their ambitious growth goals.
