Over 5 lakh transactions completed via BHIM app since launch

NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant today said over five lakh transactions have taken place through e-payments app BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money), launched by the government on December 30, 2016. Currently available on Android platform, the app reached the top of the Google Play Store chart on Sunday. Kant added the iOS app will launch in the next 10 days. 3Million downloads since launch and number 1 on Playstorewith over 500,000 transactions since launch
