World Tourism Day: Save extra on flight tickets with IRCTC's zero convenience fees. Check validity, how to avail here

Want to save that extra money while booking flight tickets? IRCTC has announced that it will not charge any convenience fees to its passengers on booking flight tickets. The offer applies to passengers who purchase flight tickets between 25 and 27 September.

According to the press release, the offer is for customers who want to book domestic or international flight tickets on the IRCTC website between September 25 and 27.

The offer comes as IRCTC is set to celebrate its 24th Foundation Day on September 27. The day also coincides with World Tourism Day.

To avail of the offer, Flyers need to book their flight tickets through IRCTC's air ticketing portal www.irctc.co.in, and also through IRCTC Air mobile app.

Along with the zero convenience offer, it has also launched other offers like discounts of up to INR 2000 on air tickets on card transactions of different banks.

This move will benefit travelers as they can avail cheaper air tickets from the platform. IRCTC, India's leading ticketing platform, offers online tickets for rail and air travel.

As per the statement, “With the festive season shortly beginning from October, customers can now avail these special offers from IRCTC by booking their air tickets for their planned holidays and New Year, which is less than 100 days away.

As the World Cup is approaching, IRCTC in a post on X wrote "Tickets for India Pakistan match Done, now tickets for Ahmedabad also done!! Book air tickets with IRCTC Air from 25th to 27th September 2023 and get the best offers.
