International Yoga Day 2021: PM Modi announces launch of M-Yoga app. Check details

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the multi-lingual M-Yoga app worldwide. The M-Yoga app will feature yoga training videos based on a common protocol.

On Monday, the Prime Minister said: "In collaboration with the World Health Organization, India has taken another important step. Now there will be M-Yoga app, containing yoga training videos in different languages for people across the world ". This will help us in our 'One World, One Health' motto."

"It will make videos on yoga training based on a common protocol."

The prime minister in his International Yoga Day, the Prime Minister address noted that yoga takes us from stress to strength and from negativity to creativity, saying: I am confident that yoga will continue to play a preventive and empowering role in the healthcare of masses.

He said that in these difficult times people have been forgetting about yoga and ignoring it. Instead, their love and enthusiasm for it has increased and further added: “Yoga remains a ray of hope when world fights Covid pandemic.

For two years, no public event has been organized in India or the world, but enthusiasm for yoga has not gone down, he also said.

Today, even medical science focuses on the healing process, along with medical treatment. In his speech, he said that yoga helps in the healing process.

He further added that doctors used yoga as armour to treat patients. There are pictures of hospitals, with doctors and nurses teaching yoga to perform breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom Pryma. International experts said that these exercises strengthen the respiratory system.
