HSRP and the color-coded decal reservation process have been streamlined to assist vehicle owners, while reducing the number of fields to complete the order form in half.

Meanwhile, vehicles without HSRP and tagging are being fined Rs. 5,500 in Delhi.

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Jahlut asked stakeholders earlier this week to provide unique reference numbers for complaints related to the installation of HSRP and colored labels on vehicles and to resolve complaints in three or more four business days.

The Minister directed officials to simplify the comprehensive complaints mechanism and assign a unique reference number to each complaint. The Transportation Department said in a statement that the Supreme Court ordered all states to ensure that color-coded and HSRP stickers are installed on vehicles to increase safety and facilitate fuel identification.
