Bobibanking - Bank Of Baroda waives the additional digital transaction charges | Coronavirus pandemic

On Thursday, 19th March 2020, the Bank of Baroda announced that it will not be levying any charges on all bobibanking digital transactions for the coming three months due to the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Bank of Baroda has announced zero charges on all the bobibanking digital transactions for the next three months. This has been done for the provision of enhanced and uninterrupted banking service for its customers, as per the bank's statement.

Bank of Baroda has introduced its new 'Stay Safe. Bank Safe..' initiative with an aim to encourage more and more customers to avail their bobibanking services digitally, without having to make a visit to the bank.

This is of major significance at such a time when people all over the world are seriously acting on social distancing and have been working from their home and have been reducing the non-discretionary activities because of the coronavirus outbreak.


The bank has also introduced a total range of digital products including Debit Cards, Baroda M Connect Plus, Baroda Connect and Baroda FASTag under the campaign, 'Khushiyon Ka Remote Control'.

Mr. Vikramaditya Singh Khichi, Bank of Baroda Executive Director said in a statement, "In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Bank of Baroda would like to assure its customers that they will be providing an enhanced banking experience because they will be availing the bobibanking services from the remote locations.

The 'Khushiyon Ka Remote Control' is an impressive step taken by the Bank of Baroda in its initiative to drive its customers towards a digital ecosystem in tough times like these."

The COVID-19 pandemic has ended up killing more than 9,000 people and sickened lakhs of people all across the globe.
