Vishal Sika is an American Indian and MD executive at Infosys. Prior to joining Infosys, Dr. Vishal Sika was a member of the Executive Board of SAP AG and the Global Board of Directors, where he led all SAP products and innovation worldwide. During his twelve years in SAP, Dr. Sikka has led the SAP portfolio, including an innovative memory platform, SAP HANA, and all of its applications, cloud solutions, and technology. He is credited with accelerating the development of SAP, transforming his culture of innovation and leading many successful initiatives to engage in product creation with clients. He is also the creator of the "immortal software" concept, which represents product renewal without interrupting customer environments. Sikka left the SAP board of directors in May 2014 "for personal reasons", and was announced as Infosys CEO and CEO on June 12, 2014.
