Retailers at popular shopping hubs still accepting old currency

Three weeks after Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes ceased to be legal tender, small and medium retailers across popular shopping destinations such as Janpath in New Delhi, Crawford Market in Mumbai, New Market in Kolkata and flea markets of Goa are accepting old notes as they attempt to keep their business afloat, which has got badly impacted by the shortage of new notes.
