Mumbai (Maharashtra), June 12, 2024: Tira, the beauty retail platform of Reliance Retail, introduced its new skincare brand 'Akind' on Wednesday.

Co-founded by Mira Kapoor, Akind was launched at Tira's main store at Jio World Drive in Mumbai. The product will be found at Tira, a top beauty spot in India, through their online and physical stores.

The skincare brand's goal is to empower people to reach their skincare objectives.

Every product within the Akind collection is designed for a specific goal of enhancing skin barrier health, categorized into BUILD, BALANCE, and DEFENCE.

The BUILD collection, which includes the Clean Slate Hydrating Cleanser, the On Cloud Nine Lightweight Moisturizer, and the Sleep Tight Firming Serum, aims to repair and restore the skin barrier back to its original condition.

The BALANCE collection, including the Fresh Start Oil-Free Balancing Cleanser, the Bounce Back Soothing and Purifying Toner, and the Get Even Everyday Multi-Active Serum, aids in preserving the skin barrier's delicate balance for a radiant, healthy glow.

The DEFENCE collection consists of the Bright Idea Radiance Serum, the No Shade Sunscreen Primer SPF 50 PA++++, and the Super Smooth Sun Stick SPF 50 PA+++, created to shield the skin barrier from external threats like pollution, lifestyle factors, and sun damage.

Isha Ambani, who is the Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, expressed her enthusiasm in launching Akind, Tira's debut skincare brand in our own brands collection. This launch marks an important achievement in Tira's progress.

As we grow and develop further, we are dedicated to innovating and maintaining high standards to improve our customer's beauty experience with each product or service.

Mira Kapoor, one of the Co-Founders of Akind, expressed that she only truly started her skincare journey when she began paying attention to her skin. The Akind collection was carefully created through careful planning, experimentation, and in-depth study of highly effective ingredients that address specific issues, and what better way to make this vision a reality than with the help of Tira, the top destination for carefully selected beauty brands. "With Akind, I aim to spread the happiness of skincare that is suitable for all skin types, focused on promoting skin barriers, offering high effectiveness, and being budget-friendly, all to help people achieve their skin's optimal condition, just like I have."

Following the successful introduction of Tira Tools and Nails Our Way by Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) under their private label, the company is further extending its range of unique products.
