Wow! Momo gets Rs 70 crore investment from Z3Partners in its latest funding round

Wow! Momo, a chain of quick service restaurants (QSR), has raised additional capital of Rs 70 crore from Z3Partners in its latest funding round. This investment, which represents a continuation of the last round, is a seed investment by Z3Partners, an early-stage technology and digital investor. Previously, Wow! Momo has secured a successful financing of Rs 350 crore from Khazanah Nasional Berhad, a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund.

Wow! Momo, which operates three strong national brands Wow! Momo, wow! China Wow! Chicken has more than 600 outlets in 38 cities. The company has also entered into the FMCG segment along with the quick service restaurant segment, making its cumulative growth story a successful one.

The initial proceeds will fuel the growth and expansion of the quick service restaurant (QSR) brand and help strengthen the distribution and research and development (R&D) foothold of the fast-moving consumer goods arm. The entire round is a testament to the brand's vision, scalability and precision in terms of profitability.


Sagar Daryani, the Chief Executive Officer at Wow! Momo expressed that this is only the start for them; They have remained steadfast, resilient, and fully committed to sustainable growth, and the trust that this group of investors has placed in them strengthens their conviction and inspires them to create change.

According to the company’s statement, the successful closing of this financing round highlights the “Wow! Momo success! Wow Momo's position as a major player in the Indian QSR scene reflects investors' confidence in its business model, growth prospects and commitment to excellence.
