Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is said to be rolling out a new feature that allows users to share up to 100 media within chats, in the Android beta version.

With the new feature, beta users can now select up to 100 media in the in-app media picker, which was previously limited to just 30, WABetaInfo reports.

Users will finally be able to share whole albums with one another thanks to this functionality, which will make it simpler to share moments and memories.

Additionally, users won't have to select the same image or video more than once while sending numerous media assets.

The report says that the ability to share up to 100 media within chats is available to some beta testers and is expected to roll out to more people in the coming days.

Last week, it was reported that Whatsapp was rolling out a long list of themes and descriptions in the Android beta.

While the group theme characters increased from 25 to 100 to give group admins more freedom in naming their groups, the group description increased from 512 characters to 2048 characters.
