New Delhi: Pocket Network, a web3 infrastructure project, has announced a community initiative called TriForce to support the growth and strengthen blockchain community ties.

It allows community members to launch, maintain and grow blockchain traffic for their own ecosystems, while allowing them to be a part of the Pocket Network's growth trajectory.

Co-developed by Pocket Network Inc, Pocket Network Foundation, and Pocket DAO, TriForce is open to community members from all blockchains that Pocket currently supports or will soon add support for.

Each TriForce consists of three components, collectively known as "parts" and the blockchain communities can engage in marketing, business development, and developer support.

As the software matures, the company hopes that blockchain communities will eventually take responsibility for developing new on-chain use cases and identifying new ways to grow their network. Pocket Network currently supports 50 blockchains.

Web3 is built on the foundation of open standards, according to Michael O'Rourke, CEO of Pocket Network. "TriForce supports the open discourse and popular participation that is a pillar of Web 3," he said.

He added that as the Internet has moved away from the top-down model synonymous with Web2, community-based models of project management, treasury monitoring, and key decision-making have come to the fore.
