New Delhi - Pledge has launched fundraising platform PledgeCrypto, which allows non-profit entities to accept crypto donations in more than 130 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether, and even convert them into fiat currencies.

PledgeCrypto offers a free and fully integrated industry-wide platform for crypto and paper donations where donations go directly to verified nonprofits. No technical experience, crypto wallet or KYC required.

Popstar Ariana Grande, who launched " Protect and Defend Trans Youth Fund" on the platform, has pledged up to $1.5 million of her own money in donations.

James Citron, CEO of Pledge, said that more than 300 hundred million people around the world hold cryptocurrency at present and want to support the causes they care about.

"We've made it seamless for anyone to support the world's largest network of over a million verified charities and charities around the world to seamlessly adopt cryptocurrencies and advance their mission," he added.

To compensate the environmental impact of mining and crypto transactions, Pledge is also launching a feature where each crypto transaction will support carbon offset projects via the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative.
