The DDA's new housing plan was launched on Saturday with the offering of 1,354 apartments, of which 2.14 cr. rupees are more expensive in the category of high-income groups. The official said that the maximum number of apartments, 757, has been implemented in the MIG category.

A senior official said the scheme is fully online and is being implemented through the recently developed AWAAS program by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), from order processing to apartment acquisition.

Actually, the scheme was launched by the vice president of the DDA, Anurag Jain.

Under the scheme, more than 1,350 flats are offered for various categories in places like Dwarka, Jasola, Manglapuri, Vasant Kunj and Rohini, they said.

In the HIG, LIG and EWS / Janta categories, the number of floors offered is 254, 52 and 291 respectively, according to the information shared in the plans brochure.

HIG flats are available in 3 and 2 bedroom categories. While MIG is in Class 2 BHK.

In HIG's 3-bedroom category, there are 215 apartments on offer in Jasola, Pocket 9B in the price range of 1.97 cr to 2.14 cr, says the brochure.

In the same category, there are 13 apartments offered in Vasant Kunj in the price range of 1.43 cr to 1.72 cr.

The MIG apartments are located in Dwarka, Vasant Kunj and Rohini, while the EWS apartments are located in Mangalagiri, authorities said.

The scheme was recently approved during an online meeting of the Authority, the highest decision-making body of the DDA, chaired by the Governor of Delhi and the Head of the DDA  Anil Baijal.

The Delhi Development authority  said applications under the program could be submitted until February 16.

The applicant will only have to visit the DDA for the purposes of the execution deed.

Eligible beneficiaries can benefit from the benefits of the PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) - Housing for All (Urban) credit-linked support scheme, the Department for DDA said.

Since several concessions are offered under the EWS category, investors in this category will not be able to sell or transfer ownership of the apartment in any way or participate in it for a period of five years from the date of delivery of possession, said.

The DDA's latest housing scheme was launched in March 2019, offering nearly 18,000 apartments in four classes: 488 (HIG), 1,555 (MIG), 8383 (LIG), and 7496 (EWS).
