Zomato expands to 25 new Indian cities

Zomato, the food ordering app has launched it restaurant reviews and ratings platform across 25 new Indian cities, taking the number to a total of 63 cities. These cities include Ajmer, Jodhpur, Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram. Manali, Jammu, Alappuzha, Raipur, Thrissur, Madurai, Shimla, Udupi, Ooty, Gorakhpur, Dharamshala, Mussoorie, Manipal, Kota, Pushkar, Cuttack, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Palghat, Srinagar and Jalandhar.

Oytun Calapover, Global head of Listings Business in Zomato stated that India is the highest priority market for the company and they would continue to expand and build further depth in the country. They are doing everything to take Zomato to more cities and to enable the growth of the restaurant industry in order to help the audience make better choices.

It launched the online ordering and food delivery services in May 2015 and is present in 24 countries globally with more than 50 million active users every month.
