For the property-related transactions via Kaveri online services one needs to obtain Encumbrance certificate. The property transactions begin with the Encumbrance Certificate (EC) of the property being bought.
One who wants to view the Encumbrance certificate, need to enter their property details and can view it online in real-time.
Kaveri online services provides digitally-signed documents by applying online along with a fee.
In case someone is buying or selling a property and are eager to know the market value, Kaveri online services will help by acting as a value calculator.
Payable stamp duty can also be calculated at the same online portal.

Citizens can get e-stamp paper by the paying certain fee on the portal.

The prime aim of the Karnataka government was to make the entire registration process hassle-free. Thus, the property transaction has been made easy. Citizens can just key in all the details related to a property being bought or sold, upload the documents and submit an application online. The Kaveri online services server will calculate the market value determined by the government and the application then goes to sub-registrar.

Once the value of the property and application is being approved by the sub-registrar, the citizens can pay the applicable stamp duty and registration fee online. They can also book an appointment with the concerned sub-registrar then and there.

The other features of Kaveri online services include the marriage registration based on the exact residence of bride and groom. The Kaveri online portal shares the location of 250 sub-registrar, which helps the citizens under the jurisdiction.

Also, the stock-holding corporation of India provides e-stamp paper. Citizens can get e-stamp paper by the paying certain fee on the portal. People can also opt for print-outs to draft agreements and affidavits.

The Government has also developed a mobile app named “MAULYA” which assists people to know the leadership value of any fixed property in Karnataka.

The citizens can obtain Encumbrance Certificate (EC) of fixed properties and Certified Copies (CC) of registered documents via Kaveri online services.

The Kaveri Online Services have made people-centric services such as property registration, marriage registration, lease, mortgage all as one-stop solution. It is said to be the single solution of all the registration linked services.

The easy and hassle-free registration process is one of the most people-friendly reform and the best aid given by the Department of Stamps and Registration of Karnataka under the leadership of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Revenue Minister R V Deshpande and Inspector General of Registrations and Commissioner of Stamps K V Thrilok Chandra at Vidhana Soudha, the state secretariat.
